AJ Schaufler was a goalie at Mount St. Mary’s University, graduating in 2010. While at the Mount, the Mountaineers made a Division 1 NCAA tournament appearance in 2010 after winning the MAAC Conference Championship. Prior to attending The Mount, Coach spent 1 year at Susquehanna University, garnering All-Conference Honors while being named Team MVP.

Coach played his High School lacrosse at Bernards High School, starting all 4 years in net and garnering 2x All-State and 2x All-Conference honors for the Mountaineers.  He also was earned All-Conference Honors in both wrestling and football while competing for the Bernards Mountaineers.

Coach Schaufler is currently the Associate Athletics Director for Compliance at Monmouth University upon graduating with his law degree at the University of Baltimore in 2013. He also helps coach for the Rumson Fair-Haven and Manalapan youth recreation lacrosse programs.

Coach specializes in goalie training. His coaching philosophy emphasizes positivity and the fundamentals of the game.

Living in Asbury Park - in his free time, coach enjoys listening to Bruce Springsteen, riding his bike, and is a blue belt in jiu jitsu.
