Our Mission: The Capital Challenge Showcase Camp for Boys welcomes  players from across the country to the University at Albany July 12-14 2016 to train and compete in front of NCAA coaches. Players will have the opportunity to showcase their skills in a training camp atmosphere that will be second to none!  United Lacrosse Directors will lead a staff of NCAA coaches who will be coaching players  throughout the three days. Training Sessions will consist of every aspect of the game. Players will apply what they have learned from coaches and compete in full field games daily. Players will also have the opportunity to attend on campus recruiting seminars, skill set demonstrations, and training lectures conducted by NCAA coaches throughout the weekend. All of this culminating in an All-Star game for each age group! 2017, 2018, 2019 & 2020 players are welcome to participate at Capital Challenge. Each participant must register online and provide a high school or club team coach’s recommendation. Early registration is encouraged. Committed players are welcome. Spots will be filled on a “first come first served basis”.

Testimonial: “Wanted to let you know that the Capital Challenge Event you held this weekend was the best Showcase my son has participated in the past couple years. The venue (University at Albany) allowed for all the games and activities to be located in a centralized area making it easy access for players, parents, and coaches. The coaches that coached each team were enthusiastic and provided quality instruction to players. As advertised, a number of coaches from D-1, D-2, and D-3 programs attended the weekend’s games and events. All games and events went off at their appointed times, which was especially appreciated by a day camper family like ours. Based on our experience with similar types of events my son has participated in and all your Challenge had to offer, the Capital Challenge would be the first one I’d recommend to players and parents considering participation in a showcase event in the future. It was excellent value for the money!” – Bob Egan
